Grade-1-a-thon Challenge

Music Network is inviting the nation to participate in the Grade-1-a-thon Challenge, in aid of the Music Network Instruments for Older People Appeal.
Beat the lockdown blues and kick off the New Year with a jazzy new hobby. It’s never too late to start playing a musical instrument!
Ardagh Music Room is please to announce their Grade-1-a-thon Challenge Package for PIANO and VOICE aimed at getting adults to the required level by the Summer exam sittings, for a fixed cost and following a set schedule.

At Ardagh Music Room we teach a number of adult students as well as younger players – from complete beginners to returning musicians, working through RIAM Grades or playing just for fun. The Grade-1-a-thon is a great initiative, with the Grade 1 goal providing a target to work towards and an incentive to practice!
Daytime and/or Evening Zoom group-sessions (max 6 per session) of hour long lessons twice a week commencing 11th January until week commencing 29th March €240 – 24 lessons (don’t worry if you miss the start date, we can catch up!). Payment options are available. The days and times will be fixed.
You will need:
A keyboard with a minimum of 3 octaves (the green line):

Computer and printer would be good.
Tablet and mobile phone or laptop – both to log into Zoom, tablet to read the shared screen lesson notes, mobile or laptop as a camera positioned to the side of the keyboard so I can see your fingers and the piano keys. We can chat about technical setup so don’t let that be the reason not to give it a go!
